Purpose of the Black Student Union

The students of the State University of New York at Fredonia, for the purpose of promoting a feeling of unity and pride among African American students and other members of the college community, aim to improve cultural and social development and increase African American awareness on campus. To provide to the student body and organization equipped with the necessary knowledge of black culture, and other ethnic heritage, by promoting:

a. Lecturers
b. Artisans
c. Dancers
d. Poets
e. Musicians
f. Food
